Description
Construction of 30 residential units as one of eight phases of the overall Greenpark Racecourse development, comprising 22 three-bedroom houses, four two-bedroom mid-terrace houses and two three-storey duplex units.
The development was constructed on a greenfield site adjacent to live construction works to the other phases and within live residential estate. The houses incorporated timber-frame construction on raft foundations, Kilsaran brickwork, double-glazed aluminium windows and Condron concrete slate roofs, with complete internal finishes including kitchens, tiling, timber stairs and painting.
Extensive external works included estate roads, footpaths, paving, tarmac and parking, boundary walls and fencing, street lighting, watermain and drainage infrastructure, ESB connections, planting and landscaping. External works included a new and improved public footpath, roadway, hard and soft landscaping and associated site development works.
Martins Construction Ltd acted as Main Contractor and PSCS, responsible for the overall management, coordination and safe delivery of the project.
