Description
This project involved the construction and completion of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, delivering upgraded wastewater treatment infrastructure for the local area. The works included the installation of a new treatment system incorporating precast concrete treatment tanks, together with all associated interconnection foul and storm process pipework and associated site services. Electrical and infrastructure works included ESB ducting, external lighting, and a new control building comprising of internal and external finishes. Concrete plinths were also constructed to accommodate solar panels and associated kiosks. The external works comprised new kerbing, Grasscrete, paved areas and tarmac finishes, together with fencing and comprehensive landscaping throughout the site. The project was completed with all associated civil, structural, electrical, and site development works, resulting in a fully functional and professionally finished wastewater treatment facility for Ballyvaughan.
